Question WOT Signal Light?

Does anyone know how I could wire a small LED to light up at WOT. Thanks.

why would you want it? i would say dont tap into anything for a signal light.... it may affect the reading.... however you might be able to rigg up a swich like a momentarty push switch onto the throttle body area and make it so when something opens up it will push on the switch and light a light....

I have a friend who wired up a small LED to the VTECH signal coming from his ECU, that would light up when the VTECH was activated. It hasn't seemed to affect anything yet. The light would be for nitrous purposes.

i hope you are planning to be spending tons of money and using a fully rebuilt engine..... a 20 year old 22re isnt going to be able to handle nitrous without some damn good internals and probably about $10k in real engine building

you could use a micro switch on the throttle body and when the throttle is full open and the switch will be activated and your light will come on. plus you will wanna use this micro switch to activate your nitrous. like the other guy said on a 20 yr old motor and no rebuild, you will prob blow the motor really fast..

Don't the nitrous kits that are activated at WOT tap into one of the wires coming from the TPS?
