Wont turn over

Hey guys.. Thanks for all the advice lately on my new toy. So here is the scoop. The water pump, thermostat, timing belt and radiator have all been replaced. I followed the 4x4 tech writeup for replacing the timing belt and the marks were lined up perfectly.

Here is the problem...Before I took off the timing belt and waterpump the truck ran even though the accessory belts, harmonic balancer and fan were off the truck. I was able to move it in and out of the garage with no problem.

I have replaced everything and now the truck will not start. It is trying to turn over and the battery is fine. The fluid levels are all fine. My question i guess is what could cause this. If the timing was not completly correct could the engine not start. It seems like it just isnt getting gas or spark.. Has anyone had this happen to them or have any ideas the plugs look fine i pulled two and they were ok. Also all the electrical plugs that i unhooked have been plugged back in and the fuses are all good.

Hope you can help

Bret

You got everything you unplugged plugged back in, and you're sure your marks lined up and you are using the right marks?
I am assuming 3.4...

Habanero: What is the reason the engine wont turn over if the marks are not lined up properly? Just for reference also with it being anon interfearence motor is it ok to keep trying to start it like this?

I didn't say it wouldn't turn over, I said it's possible it wouldn't start.

Ah, some people mean start when they say turn over, I'm not one of them. Just wanna make sure we're living on the same page.

Ahhh, glad you found it and even more glad you posted up.

The only things I could remember unplugging offhand was the maf (pulled the air box for room) and the cam position sensor on the timing cover.
