Winsheild wiper question?
The arms that move the wipers on my 92 4runner are faded. I was wondering if i putting a couple coats of black spray paint fix my problem?
The black has also faded a little by my passanger mirror. Has anyone else had this problem?

Yeah the same thing is happening with my '91 4Runner, only it's only happening on the wipers. It doesn't bother me much, it's been like that since I bought it. What does bug me is that the plastic step part on the back bumper is starting to fade, I never really noticed it until after I backed into my friend's mail box, and it put a large dent in the bumper, and now that plastic step won't stay on So I need to either buy a new bumper, or try and fix it  I also dented my tailgate fairly well (it was a tall mailbox, I completely deny the fact that there was a phone pole behind the mailbox So i'm at the moment trying to figure out how to fix that.
I'd say that a couple coats of black spray paint would work on it for the time being.

Fading
I've got the fading problem too, along with a little rust on the wiper arms. I need to paint mine. Does anyone know how to get those off?
My rear step is fading too. I've resorted to lathering it up with a thick coat of protectant so it looks half decent. There is a product out there called "Forever Black" that supposedly helps this problem. I haven't tried it yet.
Good luck with the bumper/tailgate.
