Windshield washer fluid tank leak?

Windshield washer fluid tank leak?
I'm trying to figure out if my washer fluid tank has a leak, or if anyone else has a similar problem and knows what might be up.
When I got my 4Runner a week ago it was empty on the washer fluid, and as soon as I got home I filled up the fluid reservoir, actually I overfilled it almost to the cap (oops). Now, a week later, I looked at the cylindar shaped thing that has the Full mark on it, and there's not a sign of fluid in there. I used the spray maybe five times throughout the week, and none of them for very long. I still seem to have fluid in there though, I can't tell how much however.
Wondering, is the tank set up so the fluid stays out of sight even though there's enough to be used?
And if that's not the case, maybe I missed out on a leak in the system. Any ideas? (Search came up with none).
Thanks.

why don't you fill it again to a level you can see and then not use any fluid for a while and then check it again to see if there is a leak. using it 5 times is probably enough to drain the filler neck.
