OK i searched as much as i could for this so if its already been said and done then please show me where i have a 97 limited (power windows) and the other day i rolled my driver side window down and when i got about half way it starts making this noise. its almost like a harsh buzzing, sounds like plastic gears messing up. it still rolls all the way down just fine but always makes this noise now. i know how to get the door panel off and everything but does anyone know what part i will have to replace/fix/grease? thanks.

 

if the gears are broken they will need to be replaced... first clean the track with wd-40 and then use spray white lithium grease in the winsow channel sides and a the gears
