MIT stand for modular intake tube, and was developed by Airaid specifically to address removing the intake silencers to provide a smoother flow of air. Its a direct replacement for your stock intake tube here is a link that also has free shipping

The Air Raid tube is cool, but the threaded cleanout plug will not warp like the previous plugs; so personally I would just go with that. My threaded cleanout plug has made it for over a year without warping, and that includes this last summer here in PHX.
I think I may even have a couple ISR mod kits laying around.

for cheap skates like me pvc caps is the way to go ... and you are wrong they do not come loose , just tighten the clamp , but the MIT will look a lot cleaner and a lot more professional.

hey jason,
click the search button, and youll find a few people that have had the caps come loose and i think thats it worth mentioning that it could be a potential problem in the future And if you are so cheap why did you buy a tacoma... should have bought a geo or something

Hey, both of you kids knock it off!
The old caps can and will warp, which is the underlying problem here. The "new" cleanout plugs are threaded and much stronger.
Go to HD, take off the big silencer, match a cleanout plug to it, buy a barbed fitting that fits the FPR line, and buy a hose clamp - all at Home Depot.
That's it, you're done. 50HP right there.
