I can post one tonight. I already bought a 12" Stainless steel .065 tube
that measure 2.5ID and 2.625OD. I was realy hoping I wouldn't have to cut up the stock one. Maybe I could buy the ends like the 4runner has?

Hey tbob, i would suggest using a different material other then metal, since is conducts heat all to well. I went with the airaid intake which is made of a heat resistant abs plastic. you might be even better off using your stock intake tube... just my 02 cents

That is exactly like mine, except you do not have the rear silencer. All you need is a cleanout plug from Home Depot and a barbed fitting for the FPR line. You may also need to pick up some vacuum line from Checker because it may not reach after you do the mod. Piece of cake.

i would go to a plumbing place, home depot etc
get some hose etc, get some exhaust tubing
mine is set up so that I can throw the stock stuff back in, in an hour
I took my air box out, but you should be able to make this mod by using some rubber tube sections, weld a couple ports into a steel intake pipe, made from exhaust tubing or whatever...

you can just get a pair of PVC plugs and just plug up that boxy silencer and th "J" one. and if you have a nipple sticking out of you intake manifold towards the center of the truck then just get some hose and connect that to the nipple the boxy silencer is connected to.
