Wifies' 4runner
I just picked up the wife a 90 4runner for $400, I have a few Q's from a yota newbie.
I am going to SAS and was wondering about the different kits for doing it, how is this on?
dunks
How will the SAS do for a DD?
Which axle makes for a good start?
Is there any other v6 that will bolt in place of the 3.0?
What gearing options are available for the runner?
Thanks for your help,
Shorty

For on road driving IFS may possibly be more comfortable. There are some engine swaps, check advace adapters?, but many people seem to be swapping the 3.4 in with not too much issue especially if it is a manual tranny to bolt up to. Check the gearing that you have first. Not sure when the 4.56 was put in. Also use the search feature...tonnes of stuff to read.

She uses it for a 6 mile drive to school & also wants to TRY and keep up with my Sami, So I figure SAS, 63" springs, and some lockers will keep her closer... lol
I was hoping there would be a direct bolt in without messing around with a engine swap kit...
Thanks,
Shorty

Why not go directly through Sky? You can buy the whole kit, it has everything but the axle and D shafts.

They also have all premade parts for a Chevy spring swap.
