I know a guy here with an '86 Ext Cab 22re 4x4 5spd truck with over 600k miles. The odo quit working 2 years ago and it just now spun a bearing. Oh yeah-it's been in the mud at work everyday since new.

I wonder if the 3.4 is going to become another historic bullet proof engine that never dies, certainly seems like it at this point!

'91 3.0L Engine (old): About 250,000 (I think)
'99 3.4L Engine:45,000
'91 R150 Tranny (old): About 250,000(i think)
'95 R150 Tranny: 105,000

wowsa! At first I said no fargin way, but then I realised that's only 50k per year (only!) but the GF is putting a tad over 40k per year on her car - so it's easily possible...
