the lc wheels remind me of 70's slot mags but i hate the dot/"dimples" in the top fj rims!

still wondering on the back spacking on the fj rims, is it the same as my oem 5spokes?

whats the diff in tire choices for 16s vs. 17s? i know 17s are more $!

I don't know the backspacing, but the FJ wheels will 'sit in' the wheel wells more, thus making the wheels looked more 'sucked in' than the LC wheels.

There is a handful of members here that have those FJ wheels on their 3rd gen. Try a search...you should be able to find them. Most who are determined to run the FJ wheels, end up running a set of spacers too to push the wheels out more.

If you have the wide fender flares (found on the sports and Ltds) the FJ wheels will really look sucked in.

ya, thought about running spacers on my oem rims to make them stick out more but was not excited about the additional cost of them and now to basically have to spend that $ on spacers just to make those fj rims look stock... ugh.

i'd love to find a set of the multi spoke 18's of late model runners (are they 5 lug though?) or a set of the trd fj gun metal color wheels!

ok, more things to think about.... i guess the lc rim is 8"(hence the wider tire on there) wide, my oem rims are 7", whats the width of the fj rim?

yep, LC's are 8" wide. The FJ's are 7.5" wide.

I'll see if I can find some pics.

got the lc ones. $200 with toyo 275/70 open countries, maybe 5k left on them. they clear fine, no rubbing but got some kinda of wobble at 60mph. will look into balancing first i guess. any other suggestions? tires worn out funny?

will post pics tonight.

Prob. the balancing. It's the easiest and cheapest to eliminate. You could swap the wheels front to back too.
