Wheelin with new lift, sway bar went bye bye.
Went to Windrock today (Coal Creek), and had a great time. It was a my first run with the new suspension, and first time putting the locker up to a good test.
Also found out that flexing out the rear suspension might break your sway bar. Broke a sway bar mount, so it ended up in the middle of my ome 891's, so we took it off and its gonna stay off. Now my springs become unseated at full flex, I think i need to get some limiting straps.
Going up trail 39
Finding broken sway bar.
Creek bed, where i got to flex my stuff out.
Leaving CC

ya you could get limiting straps... or get longer coils. lol you will lose some flex with limiting straps i think. i have the longer lc coils which with the sway bar attached will bind due to the lift so i had to remove it and it flexes like no other!!! lol

I have been thinking about it, and i havent been unseating the springs bad, so I am just gonna deal with it until i get my manual hubs on, and get some bigger tires. I have LC coils sitting at home, they were free

you should put in the lc coils you will be suprised!! i had the 890's for a year and then the 890's with a 1.5 coil spacer and just now got the long lc coils in there and it was a world of a difference in street ride quality and offroad and the flex so much better!!!! lol

I realize you guys likely do some more hard core wheeling than most of us but you are scaring me a bit....
I just got 881s for fronts and 891s for the rear springs-am I going to have them coming unseated and stuff like that?
Do you think a diff drop would be a wise idea to prevent trouble?
Also who does your alignments now and is that a hassle?

i have over 3in of front lift and i am yet to find someone to have trouble with my alignment. and the 881's are cv KILLERS!!! i had those before my 883's and i tore cv's like no other. and now with almost 2in of more lift in the front i am yet to tear one and i am wheelin harder than before and have 35's on them now... and ya a diff drop is a good idea. and this is the first i heard of the link mount breakin clean off like that. and as long as you have your sway bars you will not come unseated he just did cause his sway bar came off...
hope this helps
