Wheel Wobble and Tire on Roof question
When I am driving on the highway at speeds between 60 and 70 I notice there is some wobble in my steering wheel. I had a 90 Chevy 1500 that had some wobble like that during certain speeds... is it just an IFS thing or can I try to correct it. my tires are new and are inflated at the right psi. My alignment isn't off... im not sure about the condition of my coil-overs because i just purchased the truck and haven't had time to get off the road and really put my suspension to the test... right now its damned near stock... can i get some help!
also I am getting aftermarket wheels and tires put on so i need a place to put my larger spare and I don't want to put it in my cargo area and I don't have the money for a multicarrier yet so I was thinkin throw it up on the roof and strap it down to the factory roof rack.... can anyone suggest where I can get decent straps to keep that rubber attached to my roof? thanks
its a 2000 4runner SR5 4x4

Probably your old tires. If/when you get some quality tires and have them balanced on inside and out, I'll bet you vibration goes away. Remember the more agressive the tire the more likely you will be able to feel them going down the road. Michelins are about the best but you may want something a little more agressive. Do you off road it?
