What's the best bake combo for a '99 tacoma SR5?

I'm looking to replace the front: pads, rotors, and calipers.

i would just get stock replacements. i threw some centric cross drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic pads on my truck at one point. well one day i warped them having to drive through 2 feet of water going to work. i couldnt get the rotors turned because no one is willing to turn cross drilled and slotted rotors. so i ended up just getting some stock replacements and vowed to never buy cross drilled and slotted rotors again. i did feel little better stopping power with the better rotors but it's not worth the cost when they cant be fixed.

Lol @ bake typo, I was thinking the same thing!

Have you checked out the Tundra brake swap? If you're not afraid of some extra work, it'll be worth your while. https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f2/t...de-faq-239519/. Way easier to do on this generation of Yotas than on mine!

I have Toyota Rotors and Pads on my 2000 Tacoma

I have Napa rotors and ceramic pads 92 4Runner (only because they gave me the wrong pads)

With my driving Style I can tell no difference in the brakes just the difference in vehicles

What vehicle are you driving? Do you have 15" or 16" wheels? If you have 16" wheels, I would look into the Tundra Brake upgrade, which consists of Tundra calipers, rotors, and pads. It makes for an awesome increase in braking power.

I did the big Tundra brake upgrade on my 4Runner, it's *so* close to being straight bolt on. Just a tiny bit of sheetmetal trimming required.
