My '89 is my DD so not very extreme mods planned, just to get over the mountain & dune a lil' easier and with a few more creature comforts...

auto to manual hub swap (manual sitting on gears)

cb install (sitting next to gears & hubs)

MC rear bumper
Rhino line cargo area

 

I'm gonna make custom front and rear bumpers. Front bumper like wjwerdna's, accept winch compatible. Rear like the black taco on wjwerdna's bumper build. buildup thread to show up in a couple of months...
That's all this year. I can't really afford anything else.

for my '80...im gonna try and get a 3" lift...($250) maybe some new tires (33x13.50's...over $450)...new shocks with the lift of course..stereo..(mainly all X-PLOD stuff..along with a 600wat amp and a 10" sub.)center console to go between my buckets...herculiner in the cab..then clean out the bed..and put it in the bed also..new front fenders if i can find them...get most of my dents pulled out of my bed sides..door panels..interior light...remove emissions from the carb....(miles of vacuum hoses going everywhere)...get my front axle painted up..along with the rear (flat black) front bumper painted (flat black) and possibly i new rear bumper if i can find one...also painting it flat black..fix windshield washer fluid sprayer things...get my exhaust as soon as i finish my tranny and T-case swap..(within the next couple of weeks)...as for our new '86...hopefully some 31's to replace the 28's that are on it right now (they are like crap....) maybe a crank on the torsions..and maybe an AAL in the rear..or new rear springs...(it rides rough in the backend and not much travel at all)..stereo mod for the '86 also...(same stereo as the '80) get floor mats...seat covers (camo)..remove emissions junk from the '86 carb too...replace shocks all the way around...(its still riding on the stock shocks from '86....aren't bad...but they aint good either..im sure there are more mods....like..the new rear bumper for the '86 mod..and the tow package mod..and the chrome roll bar for the bed mod...painting the rims black mod..(pending)...thats all i can think of right now though...dang..sorry for the huge post..sounds like i got alot of work to do to pay for all that to that '80!...lol

just did a rear window motor upgrade to a front drivers side motor..

just got my gold trail truck running and on 32 inch mud kings today.. manual hubs, welded rear gen 1 roll bar,fix exhaust,fix all rust and paint.
