Annoying rattling noise coming from rear brake drums. My temporary solution: turn the music up!

 

entire dash board rattles bringin it in soon under warranty

 

-misc rattles
-cracked front headlight
-scrached front bumper
-warped rotors
-squeeky belt
I have just been putting all of this stuff off, you know how it is.
Turning the music up is a good temporary fix for most of the stuff.

 

-Torn CV boot
-Power antenna is stuck up
-No lift yet.

A rattling or clunking noise from my front driver's side wheel when going over pot-holes or bumps. Sometimes I hear it during a turn on an exit ramp. It's a bit of a mystery and I think there are a few others with similar problems.

 

I've got a rattling noise coming from the tailgate on the passenger side. It's annoying.

 

1. Broken power antenna
2. Wiggly console
3. No lift for a few days
4. Misc rattles.
5. Lack of cash!

Not bad at all for 170k!

 

Bad transmission, non working rear window, worn out suspension, crappy brakes, exhaust leak, no back up lights, no torque whatsoever, and the biggest problem with my rig; it's a Toyota

Where should I start? Needs new pads, rotors, calipers, and shoes. Tranny is shot, needs an alignment, clearcoat is peeling on the hood, two leaky CV boots, dented in front fender from wheelin last weekend, master cylinder is shot, busted front axle seal, leaky brake lines, cylinder misfire, no more skidpaper left under the front, and a few other little things :cry: . Plan on getting started on all of it as soon as school gets out and I have the time to fix it.

Worn front shock bushing, (Squeeeak) solution? SAW race runners !

 

He's having some issues with his ride. He posted and has gotten little help. I think thats the reason for the negativity. Hopefully he'll get them fixed.4Runner problems

Back to problems:

4th Gen = zero problems with 30k miles (smells like a wet dog though)
71 FJ40 = zero problems with 150k plus (also smells like a wet dog)
97 LX450 = bad power ant. with 120k miles, just replaced my starter (ditto on the dog thing here too)

- riped motor and trany mounts :pat:
- wore out trany
- motor need a new head
- just got timing chain, guides and gears, new distrubetor and wires
- just rattel caned it green
- no front bumper
- rear bumper is from a 84 2wd crome
- it's done the baja 500 2 times
- roled twice when it was a racer
- all the tail and head and turn lights are all backwards (revers turns the right turn signal on) :wtf:
- there is no inside carpet or plastic just dash in bad shape
- both seats are torn
- the odometer is guna roll to all zeros, dont know if it is 200 or 300 thousand
- and it is an 82 4x4 cab on and 80 frame, with 83 axels, and a motor that nowboday knows where it came from it is carbed, cab and bed are from diferent trucks.

 

crack infront windsheild,dents on sides,small work room in engine bay,weather seal come out in all doors,ticking noises in engine in reverse and under 2,500 rpms,dash noise,

 

1 power ant.
2 a/c gremlin
3 tranny soleniods
4 paint chips
5 2 small dents in the tailgate
6 uses oil like a woman uses lip stick
7 need it lined up...
8 the rattle fairy in the dash, front left tire and numerous other places
9 funky idle
10 heater/ a/c switch sticks so I got to pop the hood to switch
11 tail pipe from muffler bout gone
12 over powered 3.0, oops type-O under powered 3.0
13 sun roof leak
Nothing major, knock on wood......It's just about to nickel and dime me to death

 

-wornout lower front schock bushings,
-needs new rotorsup front and new shoes rear
-multiple dents
-hedliner rattles and sqeaks
-the biggest problem if that i sank it last night, so im sure it smells like swamp right now(pics coming soon)
