What oil filter?

What oil filter is everyone using? I've always used Fram, but I want to know what everyone else is using.

Thanks

Do a search for oil filters since there's a POLL on it already. I use Puralator PureOne filters.

After doing alot of research I found the Puralator Pureone is one of the better, fram rating on the lower end......I myself use the Toyota filter, even though all ratings I find for that are rather low too.....look in the maintanence forum, there is alot about it there....

I had read that before, I am going to switch to Puralator. From what I had read here not many like Fram.

How much are those Amsoil filters? Mobil 1 is a great filter too but at $11 or $12 each, I'll pass.

they make oil filters? didn't know that. I do know that their air filters are highly over-rated.

i use WIX filters. napa, carquest etc are rebadged wix filters. also, i use the big ones that are intended for a toyota diesel engine. 1515 is the number. it's also a really common american filter, but holds about twice as much oil as the recommended filter for the 22R.

as far as part numbers go, the one that kyle just mentioned as a size 1515 guide, is the Ford Motorcraft FL1A or the size equivalent to a Fram PH8A (stay away from the Fram though, ITS CRAP) I currently have the Ford FL1A on my truck, got it at wal-mart for like $3
