What do ya think?
I see a 1990 model 4x4 runner here in my local paper. Says body and interior in excellent shape, and has a blown headgasket. That's about it. They want 1,500. Would you all think this would be a money pit or worth taking a look at? I may call about it, and get the mileage. Just seeing what you all thought. I'd probably just fix it and use it as a trail rig or fix it and sell it for a profit. I can do all the labor myself. When HG's go on these 3.0's does it usually do much damage if you shut them down pretty quick?

i thought headgaskets on the 2nd gen 4runners were to be fixed by the dealership for free? i guess it depends on the year and how many miles.
yea call and see how many miles, if you do the labor yourself, you could make some money on that, depending on if the engine is damaged or not. I do not believe headgaskits cause much or any damage, i believe they just make an oily mess.
