My 285 gets no rubs at all, fully tested out at La Perouse bay. Only rubbing or actually banging was my hard brake line to my SAW nitrogen valve. That sucked big time, I still need to replace that valve as it got bent and stuff have leaked out.

One more thing, the 6in Trailmaster lifted runners here all run 33x12.5R16 so that tells me you need at least 6 if not more to clear 35s and run them fully extended. I`m thinking 35s to for my next tires but I don`t want a 3 in body lift, max for me would be the 1.5 in bl.

They clear through the entire cycle.

Excellent! I'm planning to get me a set for my new set of tires too. After I do my drivetrain lift, relocate my gas tank and rear lower links it will be like I went from 33's to 40's as far as ground clearance goes. I'll gain 1" with the tires, and I'm hoping for 2-3" with the drivetrain lift, gas tank relocation, and lower link updates. I can't wait to get it all done, because there's a lot of tougher trails and obstacles I want to run that I just can't do right now. I'm so glad you found these tires and have made them work on our 3rd gen's! Thanks again!

Keep in mind I have 5.29 ring and pinion. Don't expect your 4.10's to roll 35's very well.

Only Yokohama, Dunlop, Goodyear and BF Goodrich make the 315 size.
BF Goodrich A/T: $175.00
Dunlop A/T: $129.00
Yokohama A/T: $136.00
BF Goodrich Mud: $198.00
Dunlop Mud: $132.00
Goodyear MT/R: $189.00
Yokohama Mud: $162.00
(www.tirerack.com Unmounted, plus install, plus shipping, these are NOT retail prices they are alot higher.)
I really liked the Yokohama A/T's on our land crusier and took ca chance on the 315's for the 4Runner, they ran through Aftershock at the Hammers and Martinez Canyon and I even did Yellow Belly ledge which I never tried with the smaller MT/R's.
It's your money, Yokohamas will never make you cool on the internet though. Lockers, gears and driver skill seem to matter more.

With 3 in. suspension and 1.5 body lift, would that provide enough clearance w/o any major (metal) trimming?

I don't know about "proven" .. you did have two vehicles with MT/Rs go through the pit before you. But yeah those revos did a lot better then I thought they would.
One thing is for sure this is the last set of MT/Rs I will own

Don't get me wrong the Goodyear MT/R's served me very well off road. They never let me down and my original set went through Aftershock on the Krust Toy. So they are STILL going strong, 2 trips to Colorado, 2 to Califorina and 1 to New Mexico and all the local wheeling for 2 years.
My grip is mainly the cost. Discount Tire wants 251 per tire on the MT/R. I paid 150 for the Yokos. The prices above are mail order and when you add the shipping and install and mounting and balanceing and the road hazzard, they are not really much of a savings.
The MT/R's did on the other hand ride quite noisey on the road and did have some balanceing issues.

I plan on keeping these MT/Rs as street tires till they wear out and then replaces with a nice road friendly AT tire. For off roading I want to get a set of 35". When I regear in a few months, I'm going to put in 4.88s. That should be fine to run 33" AT road tires, and 35" swampers.
