What brand/grade oil do you use?
Trying to see what kind of oil everyone uses, so post the brand, grade, filter type and the mileage on your truck.

I have an idea...why don't you make a poll! That way we can see if the last poll was valid. Here's the link:

Mobil 1 5w-30 and just regular fram filters. From my experiences and from the mechanics I work with tell me filters really dont matter much as long as you changed them often as your oil.

Was that a dealer mechanic that told you that?
If that is true, why to the have filters in the first place? Maybe just do away with the filter and change your oil more...

dello 400 10w-40, NAPA gold filter 000 miles 82 4x4
dello 400 10w-40, NAPA gold filter 100 miles braken time
i will go to castrol GTX 10w-40, NAPA gold after first 600 miles (braken time)
filters make a huge difrence, it has been too long for me to remember what the best was but i know that NAPA glod was ok and i will talk to my dad who read all about filters and the many studdies.
