went wheeling yesterday...

I finally got out of the office and into the woods! There is a guy at work that always parks his Nissan next to me, so I asked him if he wanted to hit the trails. He made some comment about how his Nissan would have to drag my yota through the woods the whole time, so I put him up to it! We went out through a fire road that I know of that has a lot of very rocky technical sections, a lot of VERY steep grades and a lot of flooded streams to cross. All in all we had a blast! I think he will be buying a set of Revos very soon, it was raining all day yesterday and I made it through places that he sat still in. My old truck still surprises me when I take it out, I crawled through a rock bed that he bet me dinner I wouldn’t make it through, it starts out down hill, then you cross a rather deep ROCKY stream then back up a very steep rocky hill that turns into a shale pit, I crawled through the rocks in 4L in 1st gear then shifted into 2nd for the shale pit and made it with NOOOO problems at all, well till I had to turn around! I wish I had taken my damn camera, next time. A friend just bought a 92 Heap with stock springs and 5" shackles and wants to be a few $$ that I cant pull some of the same trails he runs, HE HAS A DAMN SNOW PLOW ATTACHMENT HANGING UNDER HIS RIG< WTF? I dont think it will be an issue, just thought I would share, I will be taking my camera for that one Matt
