Weekend Wrenching Done - Chevys and BJ spacers (pics)
After planning, researching, and purchasing for several months I finally got around to installing everything over the weekend. The following items were installed on my 87 runner: 63" chevys with a double shackle in the rear, BJ spacers up front, new CV boots on both sides, differential breathers front and rear, downey IFS truss, fuel filter and a U-bolt flip kit. It took a little longer than I anticipated but working on my vehicles usually does. I will try to post a few pics to show before and after. I am running 33x10.5 BFG MT's. I took it wheeling last night just to try it out and it worked great. Some trails where I had some trouble before it just walked right up with very little problem. The ride is great even with the worn out shocks still on. I have two lights for the front bumper on the way and I will be ordering new shocks this week. After that I will install an aussie locker in the rear and I will be ready for some more trails. Thanks for all the great writeups on here. It really simplified many of the mods that I just did.

It is an 87. I wanted to post the pics so you could see them without looking at the attachments but I have not figured out how to post them in with my text yet. I just looked at the pics again and they are not very high quality but you can at least see what a difference there is. It now sits perfectly level and I probably gained 4' of lift in the rear as compared to the worn out saggy stock springs.
