Question Water coming out of vent on driverside

I have a 2000 4runner SR5 4wd stock minus running boards 50K miles. Behind the front center console. Right by the accellerator there is a vent for the a/c and heat and the like. From this vent pours water. most often after it rains. I have seen other post like this but I want to get specific to narrow down the problem to just a couple of solutions. Some say sunroof drains could be clogged? Others say a\c is clogged? I do get water coming out of the a\c drain on the passenger side. Off and on I do get bit of the moldy smell from my vents when I turn on the air hot or cold doesn't matter. The water is usually released when I make right hand turns and the harder the turn the more water I get. A side question my driverside window rattles when is half down anyway to tighten that up? Any help would be much appreciated or redirect to another post. Sorry if this is a duplicate post. thanks in advance.

I could really use some help. I check the sunroof and it drains fine. Is it difficult to disassemble the a\c under the passengerside or is it not that not recommended. any ideas on a way to trace this problem back to the source.

First off, check to see if you are parked in a lake.

Seriously though, perhaps your A/C drain hose is plugged/blocked with something.

Sounds like the AC condensor isn't draining fluid properly, and its building up in the vents. Do you use your AC alot? Does the water build up even when you haven't used the AC for a few days? If it only happens after it rains, sounds like there's a leak someplace- maybe even around the windshield, water running down inside and into a vent.

when i first got my runner, i took a left turn during a rainstorm and my feet got all wet!

turned out, something related to the AC was clogged with leaves, i dont remember what as i'd only had it for about 4 or 5 days when i discovered this and wasn't paying close attention.

I have been using my a\c regularly thru the summer but haven't seen to much water from it inside unless the humidity was really high. Saturday we got about 3 inches of rain and i'm trying to get a handle on the regular leaks that happen. is there any way to check the windshield to say that that is definitely it? Whats the best way to unclog the a\c if it infact is blocked. thanks yous guys.
