You are welcome Mike.
We are a big community here, and with the 'Net, we can watch out for each other to make sure companies are not screwing us over.
Afterall, we pay their saleries with our vote to buy, or not to buy from them.
Check your PM in a minute.
I have the contact info for you with the guy I have been in contact with today.

I ordered 1" pp springs and bilstein shocks on August 13. They didnt have the springs I needed and was told that they would arrive on August 27. August 27 came and went. I called PP and was told that the springs would arrive on September 25. It didnt get in on the 25th. I received the shocks on the 1st week of October and the springs about 2 weeks later.
My problem is that PP charged my credit card an additional $60 for shipping. All told, I was charged about $140 for shipping. When I placed my order, I was quoted $80 for shipping.
I live in Hawaii and shipping cost a little more but should I complain about the additional $60?

Hey all, I've never bought from PP but am starting a feedback page on the VA4ROC site, and am going to add a link to this thread.
So on this scale:
How would you rate Performance products?

Well I don't think they want international business because they just seem to forward my 'customer service requests' straight to the garbage bin.
I can't risk any troubles like you guys have mentioned (I can't exactly drop into their nearest office) so I'll be ordering elsewhere.

When I first got my 4Runner I was loking for an oil filter relocation kit.
PP had the Permacool kits for $58.95
Summit Racing had the exact same kit for $34.95
Even though everyone on the boards was raving about PP I decided at that point I'd probably never be buying from them...

Did my own research on PP, went ahead and got their free Toyota catalog, then compared them to the Autozone down the street...
Optima Red top battery is $139.95 at PP, at Autozone it's $109.99.
Hella Trumpet horns (two red 'shell' style electric horns and relay) the PP kit runs $28.95, at Autozone they're $24.99.
Bilstein front shock 884runner: PP $64.95, Autozone, $69.99
Toyota Logo Hitch cover; PP $18.95, Autozone; $19.99.
General conclusions would be:
Perf Prod may have better quality products, but you are stuck with higher proices and shiping costs, not to mention potential customer service problems arising from not being in their face to complain. Autozone (et. al.) can have some serious junk on the shelves, less choice in good products, but if you know the difference you can save a significant percentage over PP for the same item.

Thanks for the warning!
I was just about to buy some of these NR gauges - and from PP, too. Now, I do have a Dodge Dakota so technically things might just be a tad different there but why believe that a company that can't make parts that properly fit for Toyotas would do better for Dodges?
Did you guys come across similar white faced gauges from other manufacturers that you had better experiences with?
Thanks again
