Warn Winch $449 Free Shipping-- Ends today!!

4wheelparts is having a sale. on the warm M8000 winch, lifetime warranty, free shipping and some other stuff. They've got two package deals the total price comes out to $529.

I'm seriously thinking about it. But if I do then I won't be able to purchase my new rear bumper this year.

If you hit the dirt enough, that winch might come in handy more than a rear bumper would

ok I want the new bumper, more b/c I have a black truck, and thats like the last chrome thing left on there.

and the winch I would hardly ever use. I already have a trunk full of recovery equipment. I think I have used someone elses winch once since I've been off roading. But I'm having lockers put in about a month or so.

help me out here guys

i havent used my winch all that much either. but to be honest, the one time i really needed it...it was a life saver. saved my rig from flipping end over end down a 50 foot hill. it is expensive, but its always good to have it when you need it. i say go for it. the one time you use it, it will be worth it.

Well, first off, 4wheelparts offers free shipping about every other week, so I wouldn't worry too much about missing out on this particular deal. I bought the M8000 winch from them about 3 months ago, and also got free shipping. My main motivation for getting the winch was because I found myself on runs where there wasn't a single vehicle with a winch. Its one of those situations of having one is good insurance that you won't need to use it. I haven't used it yet, but I don't consider it to be a waste. My rear bumper is dented up pretty good though. Even if you usually wheel with someone else that has a winch, in a big enough group that winch might be in a position that they won't be able to help someone out 3 vehicles behind them. I'd go for the winch....

I'm assuming they do, but do they charge tax? What percentage?

tax is only if they have a retail store in your state. Otherwise no tax

I know they offer free shipping every other week. But I don't remember the price being this low with the free shipping. also guys this deal includes the lifetime warranty on the winch, covers everything no matter what happens. their words not mine.

quick question though. Will I need to get anything else to make this work. Like upgrade the battery or anything. I think I'm going to get it, and have to put in over time somewhere else for the bumper.

aaaarrrggghhhhh I hate impluse shopping. ok time to workout, and hopefully be able to think clearly

Crating fee? Sounds like a fancy word for shipping charges!

I'm not even sure that it will fit my bumper. Is there any way to tell, other than ordering it, then hoping and praying?

what kind of bumper do you have

Edit: looks like a TJM, but someone welded hoops onto it.
I have a TJM, and I know it will fit

nah, it's a custom job someone made up for me. if i take rough measurements of the space i have, would that help? Also, I'd need a cutout done for the fairlead, but my bumper is powdercoated. Would a cutting torch (which I'm assuming would be the right tool) F up the powdercoating around the front of the bumper or no?

oh, and the bumper is only held on the truck by 4 14mm bolts. Is that enough to winch on?

the TJM has thre bolts per side ( if I remember correctly)

As far as the powder coating, when you cut the bumper, just apply lots of silicone around the edges to keep the rust out, and you should be good.

As far as the fitting, I don't know what to tell you

EDIT: Nice looking truck, what is that on the hood
