Wanting to lift my 2002 4runner

Hey im new to this and have a question. I have a stock 2002 4runner with 328,000 miles on it and runs good. I'm wanting to lift it around 3inches. I have a set of old man emu shocks that I bought that was only ran a couple hundred miles and a set of struts from a tacoma 1st gen. and a new set of 3"shocks and springs from rough country. Can I put the old man emu shocks on the tacoma springs and use my top hat off my original struts with the 3" rear springs and shocks. From what I have researched im thinking everything should work out and look even. I'm also goimg to replace lower ball joints when I do this. Im just trying to come out with not a whole lot in this but also with a practical useful ride. What do yall think?
