vibration on new brakes
I replaced the front pads and rotors on my 4runner 2 days ago. I used oem pads and autozone rotors. Now I have some vibration when I use the brakes at 60 mph or faster. I got a tad bit of caliper grease on the pads, and I did my best to wipe it off. Could this be causing the problem? I did a search, and I saw that Unhappy99 wrote:
On the other hand, if your rotors were refinished and you have immediate uneveness in braking, then there is a good chance some grease or oil was on the rotors. This will burn off after a while and braking will get smoother.
Anyone experience this before?

I fixed the problem. I used autozone rotors and oem pads. The rotors had a flaw. I asked autozone for a new set of rotors, and that took care of the vibration issue. I should have used brembo like some of the other threads suggested.

It's good that you got them fixed. I was going to ask if you seated the brakes before just driving around like normal. That would be cause to warp them. The greese can also cause problems, but I would think not as much. Here's another thread about problems after a brake job. Post #6 I linked to a site with info on seating the brakes.
