Mark, The psi you get from the pulley, and I assume you mean the 2.2" because URD also has a 2.1" and a 2.0", depends on how the truck is set up. Depends on configuration of intake and exhaust, how good a particular set of heads flow, ect. On my 2.2 I get a steady 8 psi but another truck i know gets 9.5psi. Gadget said in a post that some trucks have gotten as high as 11. I worried at first only making 8 psi but then I got to thinking that my system and heads might be a little more free flowing so I've convinced myself it's a good thing.

Hi Dave... yeah, I was talking about the 2.2" pulley.

I'm running the stock pulley now, and was thinking about buying one of the URD pulleys for the sake of style and a bit more kick. I understand the issues behind a diminishing point of returns, but I didn't know where exactly to "stop".

Thanks!

Any stickers added?

"Were talking 359.2 HP at the crank Wow...!!! "

Has he installed any TRD stickers? If not, one of those babys is sure to give him the 7 more HP he needs to double the stock 183! ...if only it were just that easy! Haa haa....

Nice!

Mark, I have a 2.2 and a 2.0 pulley. That dyno run was made with no cats and the 2.0 pulley. I have switched back to the "daily driver/don't kill the truck" setup. The cats are back on and I am using the 2.2. The 2.2 is a great choice because it gives you more go without unnecessary risks. That's the way I run all the time. It still gives me over 250 RWHP and 300+ lbs of torque. I can't complain about that. Plus it's alot of fun---best thing since Viagra!

I wanted to give an update on this.

I ended up buying the 2.2" URD pulley, and a boost gauge.

With the stock 2.37" pulley, I was making about 6.5psi of boost. With the URD 2.2" pulley, I'm making 8psi.

The truck is running REALLY strong right now. The extra 1.5psi is VERY noticable.

Looks like very impressive numbers

He should go run a 1/4, I would love to see his time and trap speed. That will show some real world "power"

There's a guy out a Glamis i've seen with a small green tacoma 4x4, the most dangerous sleeper around...

Although I have never seen him actually Dyno it, he claims to have over 400 hp at the crank with the help of a 3.4l, Supercharger, underdrive pulleys, and Supra injectors. Judging by how fast that thing is going up Oldsmobile Hill, I have NO reason to doubt him, that thing is FAST! (For any one that knows Glamis, you may have seen him at the Drags, he can keep up with big block sand rails...) He also has nitrous, but the HP is without nitrous (or so he says) One way or another, it's bad ass...

Congrats Mark! I knew you would like that pulley. Seems like with all the mods I have done, that 2.2 was the one that impressed me the most (after the S/C of course). I first got 8 psi on the boost guage but after putting on about 500 miles or so the belt seems to have "broken in" to the pulley and my psi has increased. During the tuning session I had in LA, the laptop said 9.5.

Actually I don't really know. I have the WI. I asked the tuner and he said it was well within "range".

IAT? Inlet Air Temp? OBD II reports that, I can check the next time I'm out.

Sorry for the dleay, it's been a bit crazy around here and I kept forgetting to do this for you.

With an outside air temp this morning of 49*F I got to an IAT of 79*F. Engine temp was reported as 187*F.

This was through OBD II, which is measured at the MAF... I'm thinking though that you may be more interested in manifold temp?
