Is it unwise to buy a high mile '00 Taco?

Looks like its in MINT shape other than the wear on the shift knobs and steering wheel. 5-Speed for the win! I would drive that thing untill the wheels fall off. My worst enemy is rust/road salt so that truck would be a no-brainer for me!

If your worried about high miles I'll trade you my 92 pickup 22re with 130K on the clock. Heck I'll go straight up with you. Just let me know. You get that one we'll trade titles and all good. You will have lower miles.

I would buy, but keep in mind any high mileage vehicle will need repairs at some point. If the purchase price is low enough, then you've mitigated some of the cost of the future repairs.
For what you want it for, it is a great buy.

Well, I pulled the trigger on it. Got it for $5200 from the local Toyota dealer. I'm pretty happy with the deal. I put about 150 miles on it yesterday and it runs and drives like a top. I appreciate all of your input guys.
Here it is cleaned up a bit.
