Tracy, I have some good news for ya!! You should be able to clean those spot with the 3M adhensive, tar & wax remover. If that doesn't help, the 3M rubbing compound will do the trick plus removing those scrathces on your truck. I tried it on mine and it slowly remove the scratches. But you have to rub it patiently in circular motion.

This is the picture showing the spot where the scratches being removed compare the one without on the right of my finger. The picture is not clear enough to show it. I felt your scratches on your door and it is the same on mine, you shouldn't have any problem removing them, you just gotta be patient. You can get both of them at Wa;-Mart.
