Tweeters

Alright, I was thinking about adding some tweeters into my vehicle. I have alot of bass and mids, but need some high end. I was going to put them on the little black triangle piece that covers the side mirrors on the inside, if you know what I mean. Does anyone know if this will work and if it sounds ok. I don't know which tweets I am going to get, but they will have to be swivel mount on that piece. Any pics or suggestions are always greatly appreciated. Also, what should I expect to pay for these? Thanks! :beaver:

I've been really happy with my 5 1/4" ADS Seperates. You can go 6 1/2 but I had the 5 1/4 from my old car. Then I had the grills painted to match the interior.

Some other stereo pics HERE

Hi there, I use Pioneer Premiers in my front doors and tweeters in the location you indicated. I put the cross-overs in the door and things sound real good. Hope that helps!

I have my system set up like Xtreme does. (I.e speaks and crossovers in the panel and tweets in the window triangle area) And I must say it sounds great! I'll post some pics.

I got mb quarts in the location you described, I just replaced the factory ones. It sounds much clearer now, although I did change every speaker not just the tweeters.
