Turning Buper Turn Signals Into Running Lights

if i give constant power with a fuse and switch to the green wire on my 02 tacomas bumper lights they will come one for a bright steady light. the porblem is i know my turn signals no longer work. i thought just the fronts would come on but for some reason the rear turn signals come on steady as well as the green arrows on my dash. is there a way to make it so this doesnt happen like this and just the fronts come on withough doing a retro fit. also is this a bad thing to do safty wise, like trouble of fire or melting. i know there has to be someone with some knowledge of this. it looks really sweet up front with my hid's witjh orange side markers and bumper lights.

Your back feeding the 12V back through the Turn signal circuit so its not able to function and making all your otehr turn signals stay on when you have the front switch on. You need to add a diode or two to stop the back voltage, I am also assuming your using a single element bulb on that turn signal right and your just jumping +12V to the + side of the turn signal wire right ?
Edit:
forgot to mention you may also need a resistor inline with your constant +12v so that when your turn voltage come on it makes the bulb blink brighter than the normal running light.
