Tune Up?
Alright, I have had my 4Runner for a year and 2 months. I don't know when the last person that had it had a tune up, but when is a good time to get a tune up and what are some signs that you might need one? Also, are there anything special that I should get other than the usual that you get w/ a tune up? Thanks! :beaver:

Oh, sorry, I forgot this in the first post, but do you think that there is any special spark plug that I should get. Is one better than the other? Are there benefits of using this one over that one? :beaver:

NKG plugs are prefered or Genuine Toyota which are probably re-labled NKGs. Those $5 platnum +4 or splitfire don't help as much as they should for what they cost. If you don't know when the timing belts were done, have them looked at. Normal stuff like cap and rotor, valve adjustment all fluids, inc. power steering. Blah blah blah.

Alright, cool, thanks dude. I am going to have to get the timing belt changed, it is awefully noisy and squeaking and annoys the hell out of me! Thanks for the tips. Now I know! :beaver:
