here's the thread... Anyways hlpressley message was not there when I posted my mesasge, but Tanto said he got email notification of the post, which is weird. Anyways, i think the moderaters fixed the error and hlpressley's post appeared this morning where it should have.

By the way unr.frosh, I got dibs on the SAW and OME setup! (PM me a price, and actually check your PM's)

Tanto is an honest guy, and he appologized for the confusion... just too bad hlpressley beat me to the shocks (just taught me to stay on top of the marketplace forums better)
Shoot that sucks, I'll let you know the price and condition once I get my new suspension on and the old off.

Hey man if want that setup from Tanto you can have it. I talked to him last night via PM and told him to let you have them. I guess he didn't tell you. I did call dibs before I figured out how much money I was going to have to spend to get my rear suspension right. I will still buy them form Tanto because I called dibs but if you want them let me know. If it is OK with Tanto you can have them. I can wait and get something later and just keep running my spacers up front for right now until I get the LC coils installed and working correctly.

Thanks for the response... I really do want them, I just don't want you to feel like I jipped you out of anything.

Not at all man! By all means get them. That is a great setup at a great price but I am just going to focus on my rear suspension first. Good luck with them and post up some pics when you get them installed.

[QUOTE=4unner4life]If i were u, I would put some LC coils in the back, along with lc shocks. You can buy cruiser coils new for about $120 and shocks for about $60. You use the front coils out of a 1995 FZJ-80.[/QU

Sorry to hijack but where do I find these $60 shocks? I talked to Jacque at Toyota of Dallas yesterday and he said they were like $146 or something like that. Help me out with the $60 dollar ones. That will make the adjustable panhard bar a little easier to come by.

I was searching around online for toyota parts and i came across https://www.toyotapart.com/ ... anyways, I just priced out the rear shocks and springs based on the part numbers xcmountain80 listed and it came out to $188.55 +shipping. ($26.48 each for shocks, $66.47 for R spring, and $69.12 for the Left spring)

They want about 10$ to ship it UPS ground... so with taxes.. total of $212.19

It seems like they have all the parts in stock, and the site looks and feels reputable, has anyone else purchased from here before?

Maybe toyota of dallas has caught onto using LC stuff to lift, and adjusted their prices to compensate for supply and demand.

One more LC lift question (I didn't realize how cheap the LC stuff could be)... The Tundra/OME shocks i'm getting have one set of bachman's spacers... do I need to run two sets of spacers to level the ride out, or is one enough?

Try toyotpartsales.com I got 173.93 + shipping since you are a poor college student every dollar counts and mention yotatech and receive an additonal discount or at least I did.

You won't be able to totally level out the lift but another 3/8 spacer will give you another half inch.

I hope they are good since I just ordered my shocks from them. I still can't figure out what happened at Toyota of Dallas. I have bought several things from them in the past with no problem.

You may not be getting the shocks you think you are.

First shocks I got were not Tokico Blue but were TRD Bilstein...they were a LOT cheaper.

I ordered part number 48531-69486. Do they have multiple shocks that share the same part number?

With those extended studs, can I easily fit another spacer? (oh, and the check is in the mail)

I will have to check my invoice.

That does not look like the number I had...I have the boxes at home but if you can get them for a lot less than Toyota of Dalla, I think I will have to have a word with those folks... and may be post something here.

My local stealer quoted me something like $160 ea.

Phils's post in this thread cleared up my questions. This part number is no longer a good part number. Please read this post. I was by no means bashing Toyota of Dallas they are great folks with great customer service and have always done me right. Please read Phil's post in this thread.

Ok, so I am mostly decided. I HATE the raked look of the LC coils, and I am going to be running 265's for a while longer. And 265's with the rake look weird. So I'm going to have to go with the OME setup, unless someone has a magical way that I can bring LC coils down to like 2.5 or 3 inches (bolt cutters.. hehe)

So I'm in the market for used OME N86/891... only problem is I'd like to have them in the next 2 weeks, because i'm heading off to college, and I won't be able to work on my 'runner up there. unr.frosh is selling is at the end of the month but that *might* be too long, if anyone has some laying around, that they just can't wait to get rid of PM me.
