actually, you don't have to take it apart. if it doesn't line up, then you take a long 3/8" ratchet extension and stick it in the lower shock eye. then you put a cheater bar like your hilift jack handle over the extension and then you can simple turn the eye. it will spin the lower coil cup, which in turn will spin the coil spring. you can put some WD40 on the top of the coil to make it spin easier.
