Very interesting thread. I remember back in 1983, the local Puyallup Toyota dealer had these forsale. The one they had on the display floor was a special edition Trekker, with Seattle Seahawk logos and accents. I got soooooo close to buying that truck! Actually they were not that expensive an upgrade but then $2500 plus the new truck was bit more cash then I had around. I definitely got the bug for a 4runner before they were 4runners.
This is gonna be one sweet truck! EXCELLENT!

Just go through an american dealer site. Always great service and price. I like toyotapartsales.com
http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...?siteid=214074
And they actually have sales on the supercharger every once and a while.
Im pretty sure one guy is on here, and you get a YT price too. Also northridge toyota gives discounts. There is a thread on here somewhere.

Yeah I see them used in the classified sections all the time. Don't know how that customs stuff works for you guys though, something about free trade didn't filter down to the little guy there huh?

well , heres the scoop ...
turns out I can buy from any USA TRD dealer (of course) , but they wont fill out the NAFTA papers needed for the FREE TRADE , so I have to pay duties .. even if they did fill out the papers , I still have to hire a "broker"
basically its a G note more , for me to order from the USA .
maybe I'll just wait and see if these to "girls" can work out there problems ...
