TRD Supercharger

I am looking at buying a used TRD supercharger. Can anyone tell me what parts are included in the box from TRD? I want to be sure not to end up needing $300 in bolts, belts and parts.

I also plan on buying the URD 7th injector kit, so I suppose I won't need the included "free FMU?"

I'd recommend getting a wideband A/F gauge too, to tune the 7th injector.

Thank you Bighead, exactly the information I was looking for.

mt_goat--I do have a PLX M-300 wideband and an OBD II scanner left over from my last project. I have a whole host of parts in the garage that I could do a lot of damage to the 4Runner with...boost gauges, turbochargers, intercoolers, injectors, etc.

I would much rather build a custom turbo setup than go with the supercharger, but smog compliance is something I need living in California.

BTW, I have really enjoyed watching your build up. I came really close to building up my '94 e-locked Xtra Cab SR5 V6 with a S/C'd 3.4. The truck was way too mint and ran too well to justify pulling the 3.0.

toytech--thanks for the offer. I'll let you know when/if I find a S/C for a reasonable price!

Ken

Have you checked over at TAP in rancho? Also on ebay there was another recycler selling a used 1st gen s/c that so far as of yesterday was going for $900. They were also in rancho so i'm sure you could just go pick it up and not pay shipping

I never thought to check TAP as they seem to overcharge for everything, but it is worth a try.

Not a problem. I used the same link when I had a S/C.
