Transmission Rebuild Advice

Transmission Rebuild Advice?
It seems that there is a bad bearing somewhere in the gearbox on my '96 5 speed 4x4 2.7L Taco. It's making a lot of noise.
I have the transmission out and am trying to decide whether to rebuild it or replace it with a used one.
Does anyone have any experience rebuilding one of these (I think it's a W59).
What are my options for rebuild kits?
Does anyone know of any online tutorials or videos on how to do this?
Anyone know of links to good threads or information on this process?
Thanks for any help.

About the best I have ever seen is the Factory Service Manual for the year you have.
It is not really hard to do this if you have the know how not something I would recommend trying to learn on your own.
At least without a few extra transmissions laying around for parts.
Never fails always some thing that will take 2 months to get because no one knows where the part got to.
It all comes down to your use of the truck
