Transmission fluid through the radiator?!
On my 90 model, I unhooked from the bottom of the radiator what I assume are transmission lines, as transmission fluid (or something heavily resembling transmission fluid) came out of these lines. Is this some sort of cooling mechanism? Also, on the passenger's side sort of between the running board and transmission up under the truck is some other sort of radiator. Can someone enlighten me? The truck has a 3.0 with an auto tranny attached.

Yep, your tranny fluid runs thru the radiator. It helps with the heat. This heat is passed through the engine coolant to the transmission cooler located in the radiator. The other radiator thing may be for your transfer case, but I'm not 100% sure.
