Thanks again for the help.
I did put the Tokikos on front and rear.

The tires sit vertical now instead of leaning like they did before the alignment, so I can tell that something was done.
I know it sounds too simple, but try rotating your tires front to back and see if that helps. When mine was vibrating, the front tires had worn irregularly just enough to vibrate a little after as well. After you do the alignment, by moving them to the fronts to the rear and vice versa, they begin wearing properly again and the vibration basically just fades away over time (mine took about 1-2 months for all vibration to go away after swapping the tires).

What is the part number for the front shocks used for the 3 inch lift? Where did you get them and how much... I have my tundra front coils with a 1 inch spacer and FJ-80 coils for the rear... need a diff drop and to make a panhard bar drop bracket and im done but its all going to be on stock shocks if i dont figure something out soon... ALso what are you using in the rear (part numbers) ?

Will going with the stock P/N give you enough shock length for the lift? Wont they bottom out?

as for as the OME's i was under the impression that the green tokico's where a good setup, but for LC coils you may definetly need something longer...i think tokico blacks

Is it a true problem to go all around with OME shocks with excessive droop and tearing boots? If its is, is it only front... thus should i go with tokiko fronts and n86 rears?

its the droop that is overextending the cv joint, causing a possibility of falure at extreme angles.

so will the tokikos allow me to keep the excessive droop from happening while still making it ok for mild offroading? or will the shock bottom out and damage itself?

The OMEs are only good if you aren't going to put any spacers up front (or you just want to run them in the rear) otherwise you could run into CV issues (esp with a true 3" lift.....since your 99 should already be pretty tall). If you're going to run topout spacers, go with the Tokico Trekmasters or longer versions found in the Sonoran Steel system 1.

IMHO, if you wanted around 2.5" of lift for mild offroading and good streetability, I'd go with the SS system 7 (or similar parts) which should give you a nice, reasonably level stance (very slight rake, but nothing like cruiser coils!). Once you start getting more hardcore on the offroading you can move up to the cruiser coils at a later date.

The Tokikos are working fine for me so far. I have not had the time to do any real flex tests, but I do have about 1,000 miles on the setup so far with no real problems. Things have been way too busy here to get to enjoy any real test yet. I do think that they would be too short for use in the rear with the LC coils, you would not be able to use the extra flex due to the length. I left out my front spacers and ended up with about 2.5" of front lift in the front. The front shocks I used were the stock length, and I found them on eBay for $209 for the set of 4 delivered. With the diff drop installed, I have not seen any problems with the cv's... yet.

I am looking for a true 3 inch on my 99 so i am going with Tundra quad-cab 4x4 non-TRD springs and a 1 inch spacer up front, and LC coils in the rear... Im probably going to use the Tokiko's in the front and probably the n86 rear OME shocks. I just cant figure out what the part number is for the next size up (lengthwise) on the tokiko from the stock ones you are using... and if they will also give me excessive droop issues... I dont intend to offroad the truck at all at first since i may not have the money to replace any of the shocks right now, but when i get shocks, i need to make sure i get the right ones! I am open to any suggestions you all might have.

I would be afraid to go a full 3" due to possible CV problems. I I would definately recommend the diff drop. I'm not sure where you could find more info on the Tokikos if you have searched this site with no luck yet. I have found that the search feature works very well here.

I have not seen any problems with either. The brakelines have plenty of slack, and when I flexed it with a jack, they never got tight. The angle of the panhard is changed, but the axle still looks to be pretty well centered.

Did you have any problems with the front sway bar being stressed? i have heard of people needing to make a bracket to lower the attachment?
