Toyota FTX - full size hybrid truck

It's only a concept car, but check it out:

Full size V8 hybrid that supposedly has plenty of torque. If it goes into production I wonder if it will have 4WD available...

Oh yeah, there's also a hybrid for the Highlander.

Sorry if this has been posted already, but I didn't see it anywhere...

Take a look at the Chevrolet Chayanne I think it is. It is very similar looking in my opinion.

Also, what is up with toyota putting that nasty baby electric blue color on their concept trucks? (remember the FJ-cruiser's color)
That FTX might look cool in all black.

I love the hybrid concept. I drove the 1st generation prius when it first came out and was overly impressed. I can't imagine what the hylander, new prius, and RX330 are like.

Hybrid 4Runner

I would LOVE to own a hybrid 4Runner! Just imagine... owning a 4Runner with heaps of torque, excellent fuel mileage, and fairly quite to boot!

Combine a small V8 engine with a high-torque motor would rock! Motors, unlike engines, generate 100%, or nearly 100% of their maximum torque right off the start. Instead of having to worry about keeping your revs high, you could wheel much more safely and with less risk of breakage!

Bring it on, Toyota!
