dude i feel for ya.before i got my yota i had an 89 cherokee with a 3" lift and tires. one night i was cruisin down a back road with my buddy doin around 40MPH and see a deer staring me down. hit the brakes and the horn and was able to slow down dramatically but still ended up hitting it. left me with a dent in the bumper and slightly broken grill and as for the deer, the damn thing got back up and ran off!!

That's bad news bears man! I'm sorry to hear that happened and i can feel ya on being on foot. I crashed my Runner into a stupid onramp guard rail leaving seattle and i was able to peice it back. That looks like ton's of damage. It's good to hear you walked away-you were lucky and Yota's are darn tough. My advice if it hasn't been said already is to part it out and save for a new one, i know it's what i would do if mine had to rip.
I'm in Mill Creek buddy, that's real close to SNO-ho if i remember is where you are from...let me know how/if i can help! james.

Sorry to see that happend...not too sure how insurance works where you are...but hopefully you get money for your lose!

oh and deathcougar, your rude remarks about my age have nothing to do with me not responding to private messages. I have been fixing the mans ditch that i completley excavated with the side of my car for the past couple weeks, oh and i had to re-sink his mailbox aswell haha. Oh and you offered me 1200 for the whole wreck, but ive had 2 yota scrappers in my area say that if i pulled the motor and sold it, i could get around $800-$1200 for it.

Hey, whatever you need to tell yourself man. Good luck parting it out, since no one in their right mind will pay $3000 for a rolled 4cyl. V6 limited 4runners can be had intact for about $5500 or so, with comperable miles. It doesn't matter what "scrappers in your area" say, it matters what the market will bear. Those engines do not fail very often, and there is not a high demand for them. We sell them with less miles and a warranty for the same price, so why would anyone ever buy an engine from a rolled truck from a young kid who can't offer a warranty?
My credentials? I work in the wrecking industry, AND i parted out a rolled 99 V6 on here and CL. Much more desirable, and it took me over a year to make my money back. And I responded to each and EVERY pm and post sent my way. I didn't make any excuses about fixing a mailbox etc.
Btw, if you dont have the time to actually part it out...DONT POST AN AD offering parts up for sale.
Look, im not trying to be a douchebag here, but take the advice from someone who has the experience. You are headed down a long hard road trying to part it out or trying to sell it for such a crazy high amount.

you obviously havent been going around 45MPH changing cds and looked up to find a deer has bounced in the road 15 feet infront of you. Oh by the way, it was snowing as well. I dont give a damn about "saving the deer" my hunting party takes about 10 each season but it was natural reflex to GET OUT OF THE WAY.
btw all you got was 10 deer from 1 party?? dude you need to come to NC. lol mucho deero.

We've talked a bit about moose in this thread also... For those who haven't had the plesure of seeing one, here's a SMALL one. Just to give you an idea of where they come to to the front of a rig, that's a stock Yukon next to it.

For the most part yes. It really depends on where you're at. In the Southeast part of Alaska, very few moose so once 14 or so are shot, the season is closed. But here on the Kenai Pennisula there are a lot more. Over 151 were killed just by getting hit on the roads.
