Tire Possibility?

Hey,
Is it possible to fit 33x11.5 thornbirds under at 2nd gen 4runner w/ 1.5" ball joint spacers and OME rear coils?
Or do u think 32x11.5 wrangle mt's will look agressive enough?

You're going to need rims that stick the tires out farther and a 1" body lift at least. Be prepared to make friends with a mini sledge to hammer, for the inside seam of the body. They should fit though, you'll probably still rub if you stuff while turning, but you can minimize the problems... Those thornbirds are very agressive, so make sure they can't grab anything if they rub, because otherwise they will rip stuff off.

I ran into that same problem... I'm correcting the rubbing with a 2" BL from 4Crawler in mid-September. Here is a thread on that whole fiasco. As far as the Thornbirds go... I did TONS of research on them and decided against them for many reasons. They are by far the coolest looking tire on the market, but no one really had anything good to say about them. Here is a thread I started a long time ago regarding those tires. I ended up with the Firestone M/T's and couldn't be happier. They are quiet and have a smooth ride. You mentioned Wrangler M/T's... although a pricier tire, it's one of the best out there in my opinion! Someone at work has them on his F150 and they look great! His truck isn't even lifted and it looks agressive! I'd say go for the Wranglers if you are looking for a good looking tire. They are supposed to function quite well too!

hmmm, so i guess i will just go w/ some 32x11.5 Goodyear MT/R's on 15x8 rockcrawler rims... And I will do 4crawlers ball joint spacers and OME coils in the rear..
Sound Good? I just want it too look agressive!!

Stay away from Thornturds! MT/Rs are probably one of if not the best all around M/T tire but they aren't as good in the mud as BFGs, Swampers, Destinations etc. but will probably be fine because with just 33s I doubt you'll be hitting any major mud bogs. Also get 33s, you just need to pound your pinchweld flat and you should be fine...or just throw on a BL and you're good to go. Many people run 33s with a 2" BL I ran 34s with a 2" BL and some minor trimming.

yup yup or they used to at least...i was going to get those until there was a "national shortage" of 33x12.5x15s cause they had stopped making them for a period of time and all the stored up ones had sold before they retooled, looks liek they're back in stock tho.
