Timing issue?
Adjusted the valves and timing today on our 93-22RE truck per the specs. The only problem is that the truck just doesn't want to "GO".
It sounds great, runs smooth (just sitting in the drive) but when you put it on the road, it has absolutely NO POWER!
Valves were adjusted to .0008 intake and .0012 on exhaust. The timing set to 5-BTDC with the jumper in place.
This 22RE was rebuilt approx. 20,000 miles back. Up until we did these adjustments, the truck would run, but stalled at idle.
Any suggestions?

Sorry I didn't give more info, but at this point in time, not sure the condition of the TSP, injectors, fuel pressure, etc. TSP is on the list for check this morning. Was hoping (at this point) that someone out there might have experienced this type problem shortly after the same adjustments.
Am not too familiar with working on a fuel injector system, but guess I will be soon!
Will post again as soon as I can check out more.
Thanks for the help!

I just did the valves on my 85 22R, and the clearance I used was .008/.012, not .0008/.0012. If you used the latter then you have them too tight. Just a thought. Good Luck.
