For those of you with Dynomax Muffs...
i listened to Randys sound clip of his 4Runner with the Dynomax Super Turbo Muff. does it sound to anyone else like a sports car rather than a 4x4??? its almost the rice rocket sound to me, am i listening wrong or is that what it sounds like?

At the high RPM's I do hear a slightly ricey tone, but overall it sounds good to me.
Also I think the quality of the recording makes a huge difference. If it is not a good recording, it can make it sound completly different than it really does. If you have a good, STEREO mic then you can get a pretty accurate clip. Cheap mics on digicams and what not dont do a very good job. Tomorrow I'll get a high quality sample of my Vortex using the stereo mic on my DV camcorder.

I too have one, and I do not feel as if it is "ricey". It is nice and deep. I like it. It is low and throaty. Real nice. I would give you a clip, but I don't have a way to do so! It is real low and nice, not loud and obnoxious like the rice burners. I am sure you will like it! :beaver:
