Waskilly didn't have the extra flares out of the factory, so that may be a reason for the 15's

I also have a 00 sr5, with the wheel well flare only and not the limited cladding.

I gost the 16's..

Why don't you call the dealer and get the specs?

BUT I did have the black matte flares, I had already taken them and the running boards off in the picture. BTW, they are not factory equipment, but a DEALER INSTALLED option. I still can't believe they put such baby tires on my rig with all the other equipment it had on it.

Not quite. 15s were standard all model years of the 3rd gen (96-02). From 96-01 15" steel wheels were standard on the base and SR5 models.
My '98 SR5 4Runner has those wheels and they are 16s. I guess they were an extra option

But those look like 16s to me.

It was Sunday night when I posted and I figured I could save my time if someone could give me a quick answer... but that wasn't the case!

I called on it, no locker. That was the big issue. Once I learned that I stopped caring what size wheels were on it.

A while back I ordered a set of those from a dealership in 15x7. They are genuine Toyota parts.
