Thanks everyone from my dad - seriously.

To everyone who had kind words to say for my dad when he (and his prized 85 Xtracab) was hit by the semi, he says thanks. I shared your best wishes with him today, the first real conversation we've had since his accident on Jan 7. He spent 16 days in ICU and is still in the Trauma recovery center, but he is doing pretty well all things considered. He was really moved that a bunch of strangers outpoured so many best wishes. That's Yota owners for ya. Thanks.

Now, everyone in the Pacific Northwest, keep an eye out for a really mint 85 Xtracab 4x4 5speed in Black. Gonna be hard to find, but he wants to replace his old truck. He was determined to fix his until I showed him the pictures. It's not fixable to say the least. But he loved that old truck, and airbags or not, he wants another one.

Thanks again,
Phil

Great to hear Phil!!!
That's love - when you go through something like that and still want the same truck afterwards

In that pic you can tell he's a tough man, and pulling through a wreck like that just proves it. Glad to hear he's doing well! Best Wishes!

Good to hear he is doing OK! I will keep my eye out for another Black Toy. He wants a solid front axle right?

I know any of us would hate to see our Dad or our truck in that shape. Not a fun at all. I'll keep my eyes out for a truck.
