hey all,

noticed that the performance on the truck is decreased very very slightly, i have 79k on the 98 with a 3.4l v-6. dont know if the 60k matenince was done cause i bought it with 61K on it,

do you think i may need a tuneup, gas mileage has taken a turn for the worse also,

if i do need a tuneup i would like to do it myself to save some money, so what all is involved? kinda a stupid Q, but i know i have the tecnical skills to do so,

mabey plugs, check timing, fluid flush? what else?

welcome to the maintenance section!

go to the maintenance section and there's a stickied thread up there. the first one. its a maintenance item 'engine'. just plug in your year, model, and mileage and it will tell you the recommended maintenance items.

many of those items have been written up in the 'tech' section too.
