Tacoma Inclinometer?

Well Hello all,

Never end up in the 95.5-04 section much over the years. But, might be here in this forum from now on. My 87 is finally starting to show it's age and at over 300k miles and years of great service its looking like time to retire my pickup in favor of something a bit newer. Looking at a 97 Taco Ext.Cab 4x4/5spd soon and am wondering what do you Tacoma fellas do for an inclinometer? I added one to my 87 very easily by getting one off of ebay for $40. Wired it to existing power outlet from dash lights (something leftover from the 1stGen 4Runner wiring harness, I'm guessing) and bolted right into place in no time, looking factory new. Were any inclinometers offered in the Tacos overseas or in Canada maybe that bolt on the dash and look factory?

They were never offered in a tacoma.
You can try grafting one on to the dash. It's been done I believe.

Over seas hiluxs (4unner) had a FMU I don't think a inclinometer was in the package though and if you can find a FMU in America good luck further more i don't know if that would work in your taco just my 2 cents.
