2002 4Runner SR5 4WD

I am new to Yotatech forums so I thought I would show off my new toy.
It's a 2002 SR5, 4WD (ADD), 3.4 V6 (5VZ-FE), Automatic with 161k miles on it. Current tires are 265/70 R16 made for the street. I bought it off eBay sight unseen for $5000 cash. Worth every penny too. Everything works like brand new, and except for some typical undercarriage rust (it was a PA vehicle) needed nothing. I even drove it from just north of Phillie to my home in NC without a single glitch.

Mods: I scraped off the frame and drive train rust, neutralized it and coated it with undercoat. Then snuffed out all the chrome, Painted everything shiny a satin black. I put on a Rough Country 3" lift (spacers in front, springs/shocks rear), a diff drop, new front struts, changed all fluids, new brakes, etc. Next are armor (bumpers, sliders, internal roll cage, fender flares), roof rack, lockers, Pro Comp tires and maybe some wheels. I kind of like the stock Toyota 5 stars in Black.

Here it is the day I brought it home.

Here it is having a little work...err fun done to it.

All done!

Even blacked out the emblems.

Only Chrome I left was the "T" part of the front emblem.

Some poser shots in the wet grass and mud near my house.

I couldn't resist. I saw someone's rig on Yotatech with JRU on the side of it. I cracked up, so... I borrowed the term. Posing as part of the Jeep Recovery Unit (NC Branch). lol.

You are welcome to check out the website of the build when I'm done creating it. http://www.degsz.com/t4r//

Notkewl, I like the blacked out bumpers. It gives the truck more attitude. Nicely done!

Here's mine! It's a 98 with a 2.7. I've had her for about 6 years, my mother owned it before that. I'm at 214k the only real issue I had was loosing compression in a cylinder from a bent valve from a pretty deep swimming session I took it on lol.

Flooding the engine with water, valves trying to compress water and not being successful.
