Thank 8sm, I hardly drove it yet bet i love it already! Its a bit more fancy then my old 96. power everything and cruise. Its manual v6 which i like and up here with the salt on the roads and winter conditions rust is killer and this runner is clean.

Yes the cheap part is done (buying it), now for the expensive addiction of building it up. but in the end its worth it.
Thats about when the clutches seem too go in them. I had too replace the one in my 96 at about the same mileage.

Little update, better picture of sliders that have been "bedliner-ed", ARB 10k shackles. Can't wait to get my LC wheels and 883+ LC 8 wraps in.

Thanks. It's hard to beat forged aluminum wheels in the perfect size and offset for the price. Especially when they look good to boot.

Those are not forged, they are just cast alloy, big difference in strength and weight. Toyota currently only offers two forged wheels, http://www.toyota.com/accessories/fe...RD-Wheels.html. They are also skinnier 7.5" vs. 8" and have a more positive offset, +15mm for FJ vs. 0 for 80 series, thus more inset. So long story short, no, not like those. But as long as they look good and get the job done, who cares right? Nice rig by the way.

Talking

Finally got the trim (spray on bed-liner), rims, grill, and emblems (Plasti Dip) painted. Got the windows tinted. Also picked up the roof rack and lights for cheap on craigslist. The rack is a bit wide but I think it looks fine.
Body lift and tires coming soon....
